Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. The name of her can also be stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well received by music blogs. The singer has recorded two high-profile covers Half the World Away by the band Oasis in a commercial for Christmas by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. It earned her some attention. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' first musical memory involves finding a small piano in her basement and being fascinated at the sound it made. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not as a job or a hobby and as a way to develop. The singer began to write songs of her own. Her inspirations include famous authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan and her love for Bjork's style. She decided to start performing her music in public when her mother said they might help others not be famous with her music, but rather to help the people around them understand their importance and the ways they can affect the world. The piano was her first instrument at the age of six, and she started writing music when she turned nine. The family did not have any idea about it until she reached the age of fourteen. There was no way she could have imagined to become Aurora. She claims that she enjoys composing music. To her, music is the most effective method of expressing anything.
